Privacy
We keep this simple and honest. Here is how Rooted treats your data.
The information we collect
When you create an account, we store your name, email address, and an encrypted password. As you use Rooted, we save the content you create — journal entries, study notes, conversations, and reading progress — so it is available to you across sessions.
How we use your information
Your information is used solely to provide and improve your study experience: to keep you signed in, save your work, and personalize your reading. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
Anonymous usage analytics
To understand how Rooted is used and to improve it, we collect anonymous, aggregate page-view statistics (such as which pages are visited). These analytics are not tied to your personal identity.
Your content is yours
The reflections, journal entries, and notes you write in Rooted belong to you. You can edit or delete them at any time from within the app.
Security
Passwords are stored using strong one-way encryption, and access to your private study data requires authentication. We take reasonable measures to protect your information.
