Abiding, Not Striving
Elijah Otor•August 14, 2026
The branch does not force fruit; it remains connected. In John 15, Jesus roots fruitfulness in relationship rather than output.
So much of our spiritual anxiety comes from measuring faithfulness by what we produce. But the invitation is to abide first — to remain in his love — and to trust that the fruit follows.
Today, practice abiding before acting. Begin with quiet minutes in the text, without trying to produce an insight or finish a task.
